Save a layout and come back to it

Arrange panes, tabs and folders, then choose Window ▸ Save Workspace… to bring the whole set-up back later in one step.

How to do it

  1. Arrange the window the way you like: panes, tabs and the folder in each.
  2. Choose Window ▸ Save Workspace… and give it a descriptive name.
  3. Later, open it again from the Window menu's workspace commands: the whole set-up comes back in one step.
  4. The same menu lets you rename, duplicate or delete saved workspaces.
