Jump to any place with Quick Open

Press ⌃⌘P and type a few letters of a folder or place. ⌃⇧⌘P opens the Command Palette for menu commands.

How to do it

  1. Press ⌃⌘P anywhere in FileOctopus.
  2. Type a few letters of a folder or place, for example “docu” for Documents.
  3. Press Return to go there.
  4. Type > first, or press ⌃⇧⌘P, to search menu commands instead. Each command shows its shortcut, so you learn it as you go.
