Add Finder's buttons to the toolbar

Right-click the toolbar and choose Customize Toolbar…. Drag in Path, Eject, New Folder, Delete, Connect, Get Info, Quick Look, Preview or AirDrop.

How to do it

  1. Right-click an empty part of the toolbar and choose Customize Toolbar…, or choose View ▸ Customize Toolbar….
  2. Drag the buttons you want into the toolbar, such as Get Info or New Folder.
  3. Drag a button out of the toolbar to remove it, or drag the default set back in.
  4. Click Done. Every window uses the new toolbar.
