Find text inside PDFs and screenshots PRO

content:"brand workshop" finds the phrase inside documents, and even inside images, in folders where you turned content search on.

How to do it

  1. Open FileOctopus ▸ Settings ▸ Search and add the folder you want to search inside.
  2. Turn on Contents for that folder; turn on Text in Images too if you want screenshots and scanned PDFs read with on-device OCR.
  3. Let indexing finish.
  4. Search with content: followed by the words, for example content:"brand workshop".
  5. Matches appear even when the file name doesn't contain the words. Content search needs the trial or PRO.
